Daniel Genet was born and raised in New York. He attended college at Western State College of Colorado and graduated with honors with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Mr. Genet returned to New York to attend law school at Pace University School of Law and graduated in the top 1/3 of his class. While there, he was on the Dean's list and awarded an American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Law Analysis and Writing I and II and Civil Procedure I. Mr. Genet was also a member of Pace Law Review and had his law review paper published. He is a proud parent of two young daughters.
He began his legal career in early 1997 and is the managing shareholder of Daniel M. Genet, P.A. Mr. Genet began his own firm where he has been litigating cases and representing clients in the following areas of law:
Criminal defense including Misdemeanor and Felony cases involving arson, assault, domestic violence, possession and distribution of drugs, vehicular assault, sexual assault, child abuse, kidnapping, and attempted murder;

Civil disputes including general civil litigation, breach of contract cases, landlord/tenant disputes, personal injury cases (including automobile accidents and other types of injury cases), serious injuries, trucking accidents, insurance bad faith, and excessive force cases;
Estate Planning including Wills, Trusts, Living Wills and various Powers of Attorney. Mr. Genet has helped many people like you to protect your family's future.
IRS tax resolution cases including Offers in Compromise, Installment Agreements, Currently Not Collectible, Audits, Audit Reconsideration, Appeals, Tax Court, Penalty Abatement, Collection Statute Expiration analysis, using bankruptcy to discharge past due taxes and Innocent Spouse.
Asset Privacy and Protection including working with investors and small business owners to develop strategies to protect everything you have worked so hard to acquire through the use of various business structures and trusts.
